Five people were shot and three people were arrested in an incident that occurred around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5 at 33 Edgewater Drive in Mattapan, according to the Boston Police Department.
Precision Auto Body is located at that address.
Five people were shot, suffering injuries that police say are "non-life-threatening."
Boston EMS transported three of the victims to local hospitals while the other two took themselves to the hospital.
Police saw a vehicle attempt to leave the scene and spoke with the occupants to make sure there were no injured people inside. During the conversation, officers found a loaded firearm inside the car.
The weapon was determined to be a Lorcin L 380, with one round in the chamber and four rounds in the magazine.
Police saw a person discarding a gun in the area and arrested the person.
The gun was determined to be a H&K VP9 with one round in the chamber and fourteen rounds in the magazine.
The three people arrested were:
- Hakeem Ramey, 29, of Brockton
- Nashaly Seguinot, 25, of Boston
- Samuel Roman, 24, of Boston
All three were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. They are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
